The Long Walk For Lungs

The Long Walk For Lungs is a 15 day, 697km charity walk to raise funds for the Lung Foundation Australia. The event kicks off in Narromine NSW on Monday 14th and will end in Forbes NSW on Friday 1st September.

Mark Giffin, Managing Director of the AGnVET Services group, has committed the business to support Bill Van Nierop and Lung Foundation Australia by staging this event and raising awareness and funds for research into Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) a chronic incurable lung disease which Bill was diagnosed with back in 2015.

All businesses within the AGnVET Group being AGnVET Services, IK Caldwell, Darling Irrigation, The Wheelhouse Group, Howard Martin & Co, McNamaras AGnVET and AGnVET Agribusiness will be promoting the walk in their stores from August 1st until the walk finishes on September 1st.

The Long Walk For Lungs will commence in Narromine and will follow a 697km route through Central Western NSW  passing through the towns of Trundle, Condobolin, Lake Cargelligo, Griffith, Leeton, Weethalle, Barellan, West Wyalong and finishing in Forbes.
